How to Apply

Complete Education and Supervised Practice ▾Obtain at least a master's degree (as of 2024) in human nutrition or dietetics and complete a board-approved supervised practice program of at least 1,000 hours.

Pass the CDR Examination ▾Register for and pass the national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

Applicants currently licensed in another state may apply via reciprocity by submitting the standard application, fee, and an official Verification of Licensure from their current state board. The applicant must still have active CDR registration.
