How to Apply

  1. Create Portal Account
    Register for an account on the BSPA Applicant Portal (Thentia Cloud) using a computer (mobile devices are not supported).
  2. Submit Initial Application and Fee
    Complete the online application for Audiology licensure and pay the non-refundable $95 application fee plus the $50 background check fee.
  3. Complete Fingerprinting
    Schedule a fingerprinting appointment through Fieldprint Oregon. Use the specific code provided within the application portal to ensure results are sent to the Board.

  4. Request Official Transcripts
    Have your university send official transcripts directly to the Board. E-transcripts are preferred and should be sent to speechaud.board@bspa.oregon.gov.
  5. Verify Certification or Exam Scores
    Request official verification of your ASHA CCC-A or ABA certification. Alternatively, have your Praxis exam scores sent directly to the Board (Recipient Code 8699).
  6. Submit Verification of Good Standing
    If you have ever held a professional license in another jurisdiction, you must request a letter of good standing be sent directly from that state's board to the Oregon BSPA.
  7. Pay License Fee
    Once the application is reviewed and approved, log back into the portal to pay the $250 biennial license fee to issue the active license.
