How to Apply

Background Check ▾Submit fingerprints for Ohio BCI and FBI background checks at a WebCheck provider. Results must be sent directly to the Board.
Background Check Instructions -
Submit eLicense Application ▾Create an account and submit the 'Pharmacist - Examination' application via the eLicense Ohio portal. This can be done up to 30 days before graduation.

Register with NABP ▾Register for the NAPLEX and MPJE (or UMPJE for 2026 graduates) through the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP).

Submit Transcripts and Education Verification ▾Ensure your school submits the Certificate of Pharmacy Education to the Board and official transcripts to NABP after degree conferral.

Receive Authorization to Test (ATT) ▾Once the Board verifies your application, background check, and education, they will grant eligibility to NABP, who will issue your ATT.
