How to Apply

  1. Create a MiPLUS Account ▾
    Register for an account on the Michigan Professional Licensing User System (MiPLUS) to begin the application process.

    Complete the Physical Therapist by Examination application and pay the required fee of $220.50 via credit or debit card.

    Wait for the Application Confirmation letter containing your Customer ID. Use this ID to schedule a criminal background check through IdentoGO.

  4. Register for the NPTE ▾
    Register for the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) through the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT).

  5. Take the Jurisprudence Exam ▾
    Schedule and pass the Michigan Physical Therapist Jurisprudence Exam through PSI. A passing score of 75% is required.
