Slow Downs

Incomplete CORI Form
Failure to have the CORI form notarized or providing incorrect Social Security Number digits will result in immediate rejection of the background check.
Missing License Verifications
Delays often occur when applicants fail to ensure that all other state boards send official verifications directly to Massachusetts.
Transcript Delivery Issues
Transcripts must be official and sent directly from the registrar; student-uploaded copies are typically not accepted for initial licensure.
