Obtain an NABP e-Profile ID ▾All pharmacy technicians in Kentucky are required to have an NABP e-Profile ID before applying. This ID is used to track your professional information and is a mandatory field on the application.

Register for the Licensure Gateway ▾Create an account on the official Kentucky Board of Pharmacy Licensure Gateway portal. This is the single portal used for all applications, renewals, and profile management.

Submit Initial Application ▾Log into the Licensure Gateway and select the 'Pharmacy Technician Initial Application'. Complete all required fields, including personal disclosures and employment information.
Start Application -
Complete Criminal Background Check ▾Pre-enroll with IdentoGO for fingerprinting. Use the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy service code: 27GJX1. You must complete this step for your application to be considered complete.
Schedule Fingerprinting -
Pay Registration Fee ▾Pay the non-refundable $25 registration fee through the online portal using a credit or debit card.
