Endorsement Steps

  1. Step 1

    Complete Education & Supervised Practice

    Earn a master's degree or higher from an ACEND-accredited program. Complete a minimum of 1,200 hours of board-approved supervised practice through a dietetic internship.

  2. Step 2

    Pass the CDR Examination

    Successfully pass the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) Registration Examination for Dietitians (or the CNS exam for Nutritionists). Verification of current RD/CNS status is required.

  3. Step 3

    Submit the Application via DELPROS

    Create an account in the Delaware Professional Regulation Online Services (DELPROS) system, complete the application, and pay the $235 fee.

  4. Step 4

    Provide Verification Documents

    Upload or have primary source verification sent for your active CDR card or CNS certification. Any existing out-of-state licenses must be verified as well.
