Verify Educational Eligibility ▾Ensure you hold a master's or doctorate degree in speech-language pathology from a program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) of ASHA.

Obtain SPE Approval ▾Before beginning your Supervised Professional Experience (SPE) in Connecticut, your supervisor must submit an SPE Approval Form to the DPH for authorization.
