How to Apply

  1. Obtain Graduate Degree
    Complete a Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from an accredited institution.

    Register for and pass the Praxis Speech-Language Pathology exam (test code 5331) with a minimum score of 162. Use recipient code R8773 to send scores to ABESPA.

  4. Complete Clinical Fellowship

  5. Transition to Full Licensure
    Upon completion of the CFY and obtaining ASHA CCCs, submit proof of certification to the Board to upgrade from provisional to full status. No additional fee is required for this transition.
