What You'll Need

• Official Transcripts — Must show degree conferral (AuD) and be sent directly from the institution.
• Praxis Score Report — Official scores sent via ETS to code R8773. ETS Praxis
• Clinical Practicum Summary — A summary of clinical hours signed by the university department chair or program director.
• ASHA/ABA Certification Card — A clear copy of your current CCC-A or ABA certification card, if applicable.
• Application Checklist — Official board checklist to ensure all components are submitted.

How to Apply

1. Submit Online Application ▾
   Complete the online application through the McMan State Solutions portal within 30 days of beginning practice in Arkansas.
2. Pay Application Fee ▾
   Pay the non-refundable application fee of $5.00 (reduced from $100 as of July 2023) via credit/debit card or mail a check.
3. Request Official Transcripts ▾
   Have official graduate transcripts sent directly from your university to ABESPA either electronically or in a sealed envelope.
4. Submit Praxis Scores ▾
   Request ETS to send your Praxis exam scores (minimum 162) to ABESPA using recipient code R8773.

5. Provide Clinical Practicum Summary ▾
   Submit a copy of your summary of clinical practicum hours (e.g., CALIPSO report) signed by your program director.
6. Verification of Other Licenses ▾
   If you hold or have held licenses in other states, request official verification be sent directly to the Board.
