Slow Downs

Fingerprint Rejection
Poor quality prints or using the wrong card type (must be FD-258) causes significant delays. Ensure prints are rolled nail-to-nail in black ink.
Missing Third-Party Verifications
Delays often occur when training programs or other state registries fail to send verification forms directly to the Alaska Board.
Incomplete Applications
Failing to answer all questions or missing signatures (especially the notary seal on paper forms) will result in the application being returned.
