How to Apply
Complete Education and Clinical Requirements
▾
Earn a doctoral degree (AuD) in audiology from an accredited institution and complete a supervised clinical practicum (4th-year internship) of at least 1,820 hours.
Pass the Praxis Exam
▾
Take and pass the Praxis Audiology exam (test code 5343) with a minimum score of 170. Request that scores be sent directly to ABESPA.

While the application asks about criminal history, standard audiology applicants are not currently required to submit fingerprints through a vendor like Fieldprint, unless applying for an expedited military spouse license.
Can I practice while my application is pending?

Yes, if you hold a valid CCC and/or an active license in another state, you may practice during the interim period between submission and Board action.
